The secret to jamming pain... simple and effective relief

Sunday 13 Oct 2014

Picture your spinal cord being a bit like the M5 & M6 travelling the length of your body like these motorways do the country.

Now imagine yourself as a nerve impulse starting your journey in the big toe...

Start out in Exeter and trundle up as far as Avonmouth where the first area of congestion occurs, once through there Birmingham awaits, then the Thelwall viaduct before the road opens out again and you speed through the Scottish border and on to Glasgow.

Arriving in the fair city with a chance to buzz around and explore the place.

What if your journey was stopped in a maelstrom of congestion around Spaghetti Junction though? – A jam so bad that you not only got stuck but actually forgot where you were going in the first place.

This extended metaphor is what I want you to think about the next time you get pain in your back, knee, shoulder or neck.

Imagine being able to scramble the pain signals in the nerve network rather than allow them to race to your brain and make you aware of their presence.

Building your own version of the notoriously complicated motorway junction that has seen even hardened truck drivers break down in tears – a totally confusing impasse for any pain signals that want to journey on.

This would leave all your pain blundering around in your neural system confused and rapidly running out of fuel to finish their journey...Never making it to the point where you actually feel it.

Discover how you can disorientate pain signals

Pulse away pain

As I'm sure you're aware, I suffer from back pain from time to time. And anything can trigger it...

When I leap up to do the dishes, when I bend over to carry all of Lara's bags after I've

INSISTED we go clothes shopping all day...

All right, I'm not fooling anyone am I? But simple everyday things like these can cause my back to twinge and seize up.

Lucky for me they're pretty rare.

But when my back plays up, it can be totally unbearable. And once I put it out, the nagging ache will take weeks to clear up. Now in the past I've tried a variety of treatments and some of them have been excellent.

But there's always been one problem...

The pain may pass, but the CAUSE of the pain remains. And I guess that's why my back pain flares up from time to time.

However, even though I use any excuse for a good moan, I'd be the first to say that I'm lucky. Back pain only strikes me occasionally.

But for some people, joint pain is a real problem something that dogs them constantly, gnawing away hour after hour, day after day.

The most commonly reported sites of pain are the back, knees, shoulders and neck and account for many hundreds if not thousands of GP appointments each day.

But, help is at hand for every one of these poor pain demented souls.

Using Micro Current Technology built into specially designed pads it is possible to block the pain signals and allow the body to heal itself, whist you continue doing whatever you choose (apart from swimming or bathing where electricity and water don’t make happy bed fellows!).

If MCT is new to you here’s the basic detail.

Amazing Micro Current Technology

Micro Current Therapy, commonly referred as MENS (Microcurrent Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation) is extremely small pulsating currents of healing electricity.

These currents are finely tuned to the level of the normal electrical exchanges which take place at the body’s cellular level and are more biologically compatible than any other electrical stimulation device; they have the ability to penetrate the cell - as opposed to passing over the cell as other stimulation devices do.

By entering the cells they are able to impact upon disrupted physiological processes that occur as a result of damage and actually normalise the processes occurring within tissues.

Which is how they promote healing.

But this may take several days to achieve so the other benefit of strapping one of these Paine Ease Wraps on is to discombobulate the pain signals (hopefully not too technical there!).

By flooding the local area with micro electrical impulses the system blocks routes normally taken by pain signals and prevents them activating the sensory cortex in the brain... hence you feel no pain.

So the Pain Ease Wraps help prevent pain in the short term but also heal the damaged tissue that causes it.

A true double benefit...

But thanks to my supplier there is just one extra reason to be very interested in these amazing pain management products – for two weeks they are running their ‘Wrap Up For Autumn’ sale, and that means a special price offer.

If these devices have passed you by until now this is the chance to get one – especially as for a limited time only there is a massive price discount available which you’ll discover at the checkout.

Four Natural Pain Remedies

As always at The Good Life Letter I try to search out the best in ancient remedies and these four look like the ideal ones to try whilst you’re waiting for your Pain Ease Wrap to be delivered (after all you really must try one out... won’t you?).

The monkey's favourite. Bananas are rich in potassium, and large amounts of potassium seem to have helped some sufferers. Exactly why potassium helps is one of life's little mysteries, but if it works, why ask questions!

Try loading up on potassium rich foods such as bananas, oranges and potatoes.

Try a cup of nettle tea. Nettle has been used for centuries to treat dozens of ailments, including sciatica - because active compounds in the leaves reduce inflammation.

Rub the pain away! Lie on your back, with your lower back supported by pillows. Lift

up your leg and massage along the nerve from the back of the knee round to the hip.

Then repeat going downwards. Work back and forth across the nerve. Repeat three times.

St. John's Wort Oil is said to be an effective massage oil for relief of sciatica, arthritis and back pain, so perhaps you can try it with the above tip!

Well that’s it for this bumper pain edition of the letter, I hope you achieve a bit of relief and can enjoy the last few days of summertime...

In the next few weeks the clocks go back and we will be plunged into wintery darkness once again.

Grab a bargain that will really ease joint and muscle pain – act quickly

Yours, as always
